ကိုယ်တိုင်လည်း သုံးနေပေမယ့် သတိမထားမိတာလည်း ဖြစ်နေနိုင်တာမလို့ ဒါလေးကြည့်ပြီးရင် နားလည်သွားပါလိမ့်မယ်။

English စာ လေ့လာနေသူတွေ သိကိုသိထားရမယ့် Tones of communication ခေါ် language registers နှစ်မျိုးအကြောင်းကို ပြောပြသွားပါမယ်။

Formal နဲ့ Informal လို့ ခေါ်တဲ့ အသုံးနှစ်ခုပါ။ ကွာခြားချက်တွေကတော့ ဒီလိုပါ။

Formal language ကိုတော့ ကိုယ်နဲ့သူစိမ်းတွေနဲ့ ပြောကြတဲ့အခါ၊ report တွေ၊ academic writing တွေ ရေးကြတဲ့အခါ (များသောအားဖြင့် writing မှာတွေ့ရတဲ့ အသုံးဖြစ်ပါတယ်..)၊ professor ကြီးတွေကိုယ်တိုင် lecture ချတဲ့အခါ၊ မိန့်ခွန်းပြောတဲ့အခါ တွေ့ရတဲ့အသုံးဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အရမ်းကို polite ဖြစ်ပြီး တစ်ခါတလေကျရင် ချိုပျစ်နေတတ်တဲ့ လေသံတောင်ပေါက်သွားတတ်ပါတယ်။

Informal language ကိုတော့ ပုံမှန် သူငယ်ချင်းမိသားစုတွေနဲ့ စကားပြောတဲ့အခါ၊ စာတိုလေးတွေပို့တဲ့အခါ၊ email တွေပို့တဲ့အခါ၊ စသည်ဖြင့် ပုံမှန်နေ့စဉ် သုံးကြပါတယ်။ သူကတော့ တချို့ပြောစကားတွေမှာ အရမ်းလိုတိုရှင်းဖြစ်လို့ ထိထိမိမိဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဒီနှစ်ခုအပြင်ကိုမှ Neutral ဆိုတဲ့ ပိုပိုသာသာ ယဉ်ကျေးတာမပါဘဲ tone မှန်မှန်နဲ့ လိုတိုပြောသဘောမဟုတ်ဘဲ အဆင်ပြေပြေလေး သုံးကြတဲ့ ပုံစံလည်း ရှိပါတယ်။ ငယ်ငယ်က သင်လာတဲ့ ဖတ်စာတွေတို့၊ ပုံမှန်ပြောဆိုဆက်ဆံကြတာတွေတို့ဟာ Neutral ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

ဒီလိုစာတွေကြည့်နေရတာနဲ့ နားလည်ဖို့ခက်ပါလိမ့်မယ်။ အောက်က example လေးတွေ ကြည့်ကြရအောင်ပါ။

1. Requesting Information

Formal: "Could you please provide me with further details regarding the event?"
Neutral: "Can you give me more information about the event?"
Informal: "Hey, what’s up with the event?"

2. Declining an Invitation

Formal: "Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend due to prior commitments."
Neutral: "Sorry, I can't make it. I have another plan."
Informal: "Nah, I’m busy. Maybe next time!"
